New Audi S6, S7, S8 and RS6 to get Bentley V8

The 2012 Audi S8 will get power from a Bentley V8 We reported back in October that Bentley and Audi were working on a new V8 that would power future models from both marques, and we asked if that would mean the end of the W12 in the Bentley. Because although it was claimed that the V8 being developed would be used as an entry-level lump for the Continental GT – a nod to more frugal times – we did think it likely it would be more than that. General Motors to offer car sharing via mobile app and OnStar

General Motors has partnered with a San Francisco-based start-up company named RelayRides to enter the car-sharing business. In early 2012, GM vehicle owners in California will be able to use the OnStar system to rent out their cars when they aren't using them. The service will available nationwide for OnStar subscribers by the end of the year.

Alfa Romeo 4C finally on sale in 2013?

It seems the Alfa Romeo 4C may finally arrive in production guise at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, and on sale soon after. First seen at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011 – when we expected it to go on sale in 2012 – the 4C has been rolled out by Alfa Romeo a few times since – even complete with ‘teasers’ when all that had changed was the colour – to keep up interest in a car that holds much promise but didn’t seem to be heading anywhere. But now, according to Autocar, Alfa Romeo has confirmed that a production version of the Alfa 4C will arrive at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show before going on sale – at least in Europe – later in the year.
